I am proud of my mother and I will scream it out loud as many times as I can. When you look at her, you may say that she's fat and may observe that she's just a very simple woman who doesn't care much about her looks. But why am I saying these things? I don't mean to degrade her, ooh it'll never happen! But what I am trying to bombard to all of you is that, No matter how simple/fat she may be it will never become the reason of our misunderstandings, conflicts and the like. What I also want to point out is that I accept her total personality or well- being and I will always be proud of her because I love her endlessly. She loves us so much. Pure Love plus Tender Care equals my mother.
Everytime I feel so down, my mom is always to the rescue. She will right away remove my depressions and make me smile afterwards. I remember the time during my high school days when my classmates and I had conflicts about certain things. I felt so alone and I felt pity of myself. What my mother did, she carried me like she used to carry me when I was a little girl. When she thinks that I am already asleep, she will whisper something " pasensya lang anay anak ha,jalo yalang taki lang man si mama pirmi para kuntigo. man pray lang kun dituyu guardian angel pati kun God.numa ya yura ha kay si ta yura itu asta io ta yura tamen" (T_T) It feels so relieving hearing those words.
I don't have complaints about the way she disciplines us because she knows what is best for us. Having her is a wonderful present God has given to me. She is GREAT and INCOMPARABLE. As a return for all her time, effort and love- I will surely give respect to her ,I will always appreciate those things she gave to me and ofcourse I will always show my love and gratitude to her. I want to make her feel that she has become the best mother to the four of us and that we are very grateful she is our mother. Finally, to make her feel that her sacrifices and efforts didn't become a waste but the greatest accomplishment she has ever made..

I have seen you and your mother already. Both of you really seem so cute. It proves how strong the bond between you is. And it is being reflected on your blog.

ReplyDeleteWhew!! I had teary eyes while reading your blog.. I remeber the times whrn me and my mom are together but any way you're are indeed right!! Our mother's imperfections are not a strong reasion to cease loving and being proud of them.. You really had a great mom Sherwie!!

And it is good to hear such inspirational words and advices comes from our mother's heart. By this words, it can cure pains and light the darks in our lives.
